We set up Wonderkid’s flagship bursary schemes because every child deserves access to affordable, inclusive sport, regardless of the financial, personal or social barriers they may face.

Wonderkid Bursary Programme

For children experiencing financial, personal or social barriers, including financial hardship, SEND, Pupil Premium, Looked-After Children, young carers, English as an additional language, family bereavement and many other circumstances. This may not be as a result of financial hardship - it may be that one of their parents or carers are blue light workers, for example!

Successful applicants receive:

Their first month completely FREE—a saving of £31.99
Membership for only £10 per month afterwards—a monthly saving of £21.99
A total membership saving of £273.88 during the first 12 months

Wonderkid Scholarship Programme

For talented children who demonstrate sporting potential, effort, enthusiasm and a positive attitude.

Successful scholars receive:

Their first month completely FREE
Membership for only £10 per month afterwards
A total membership saving of £273.88 during the first 12 months
One FREE 30-minute one-to-one session every month
Personalised drills to practise at home

Parents simply need to include a short 30-second video showcasing their child’s favourite skill.

Wonderkid New Beginnings Programme

One child who has moved to the UK within the past three years will receive:

12 months of completely FREE membership
A total membership saving of £383.88
A football of their own

Every successful child across all three of our flagship programmes will also receive a FREE Wonderkid goodie bag!

Remember: no Wonderkid family ever pays a registration fee, and there is never any compulsory kit to purchase.
